ICSE Class 10 Topper 2019: 02 bag 1st position, 10 get 2nd rank and 24 share 3rd

The overall pass percentage in ICSE Class X 2019 exam is 98.54%, the council said.

ICSE Class 10th Result 2019: Mumbai's Juhi Rupesh Kajaria and Muktsar's Manhar Bansal jointly top class 10 ICSE exam with 99.60 per cent. The ICSE Class 10 result 2019 is declared today afternoon.

Juhi Rupesh Kajaria of Jamnabai Narsee School, Juhu, Mumbai and Manhar Bansal of Little Flower Convent School, Mutsar got 1st rank by scoring 498 out of the total 500 marks.

A total of 10 students have secured the 2nd rank by scoring 99.50% marks whereas 24 students scored 99.20% marks to share the 3rd rank, the council said.

The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has declared on its official website cisce.org the results of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X (Class 10th) 2019 exam today on Tuesday May 07, 2019.

The overall pass percentage in ICSE Class X 2019 exam is 98.54%, the council said.

The results of Class 10th ICSE 2019 is available through Careers Portal of the Council, on the website of the council and also through SMS.

  3. Enter UID and Index Number.
  4. Enter the Captcha code as you see.
  5. Click on 'Show Result' button.
  6. Take a print out of the scorecard for future reference.

The ICSE 2019 results will also be available via SMS. To receive the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X (Class 10th) 2019 exam results by SMS, the candidate will require to type ICSE followed by their seven digit unique ID code and send the message to 09248082883.

This year, the ICSE Class X began from February 22 and ended on Marhc 25, 2019.

The council also said the pass marks for the ICSE exam will now be 33% instead of 35% to be declared successful. The change in the passing marks for the ICSE will be effective from this year.

In 2018, ICSE 10th result was declared on May 14. Overall Pass Percentage of ICSE 2018 exam was 98.51%. Most of the students bagged Grade 1 meaning they have scored 90-100 marks in most subjects. 

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has been so constituted as to secure suitable representation of: Government of India, State Governments/Union Territories in which there are Schools affiliated to the Council, the Inter-State Board for Anglo-Indian Education, the Association of Indian Universities, the Association of Heads of Anglo-Indian Schools, the Indian Public Schools' Conference, the Association of Schools for the ISC Examination and members co-opted by the Executive Committee of the Council.
