West Bengal Uccha Madhyamik 2019 Result: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has declared on its official websites wbchse.nic.in and wbresults.nic.in today the result of WBCHSE Class 12th HS 2019 examinations, also knwon as Uccha Madhyamik Pariksha, held in the months of February and March, 2019.
West Bengal recorded an overall pass percentage of 86.29% in 2019 WB Uccha Madhyamik Class 12 exam.
Shovan Mondal and Rajashree Barman Cooch Bihar Jenkins school are WB Uccha Madhyamik 2019 Toppers. They scored 498 out of the total 500 marks to secure the top position in the WB 12th Merit List 2019.
Six students came joint 2nd with 496 marks. Sanjukta Bose is topper among girls. She scored 99.20% marks and secured the 2nd position. Similarly, Rakesh Dey is WBCHSE Arts stream topper and on 4th position in the state merit list with 99.20% marks.
"This is for the first time in the history of West Bengal Higher Secondary examination that 137 students have found a place in the Top Ten position in the WBCHSE Merit List,” WBCHSE president Mohua Das said while declaring the results.
East Midnapore district topped with 90% results followed by Kolkata, West Midnapore and Kalimpong districts.
The pass percentage of minority students is 81.55% while that of Tapasili students is 80.45%. Some 5,248 students have received O grade.
WBCHSE Class 12th Arts, Science and Commerce students can check their results at wbchse.nic.in and wbresults.nic.in.

WB Uccha Madhyamik result can also be aaccessed via SMS. Candidates have to type SMS- (WB12Roll number and send it to 5676750) or (WB12 Roll number and send it to 58888).
The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) had conducted the Class 12th HS exams from February 26 to March 13, 2019. Around 8.05 lakh students had appeared for the West Bengal board Higher Secondary 2019 examination.
In 2018, Granthan Sengupta from Jalpaiguri Zilla School topped the WB Uccha Madhyamik Pariksha scoring 496 marks out of 500 (99.2 per cent). A total of 83.75 per cent students had cleared the Higher Secondary examination successfully in 2018. The result of Science, Arts and Commerce all thre streams are declared on the same day.
The West Bengal Madhyamik or Class 10 Matric result was declared on May 21, 2019.
