UPSC Revised Annual Calendar 2020 released

UPSC Revised Annual Calendar of examinations has been published on the UPSC website upsc.gov.in

New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released on its official website upsc.gov.in the revised annual calendar and schedule of the civil services examinations and interviews postponed due to restrictions imposed to contain Covid-19 epidemic.

UPSC Revised Annual Calendar of examinations has been published on the UPSC website upsc.gov.in.

The UPSC had in the beginning of this month deferred the Civil Services Preliminary Examination scheduled to be held on May 31 due to ongoing lockdown. As per the revsied schedule, the UPSC will now conduct the Civil Service Preliminary Examination on October 4, 2020.

Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 through CS(P) Examination 2020 will also be held on October 4, 2020.

The Commission had also postponed various examinations including Personality test for remaining candidates for the Civil Services Examination, 2019; Notification for the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2020; Notification for the Combined Medical Services Examination, 2020; Notification for the Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2020; and the NDA & Naval Academy Examination, 2020.

As per the revised calendar, N.D.A. & N.A. Examination (I), 2020 will be held on Sunday September 06, 2020. I.E.S./I.S.S. Examination, 2020 will be held for 03 days starting October 16, 2020, whereas Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2020 will be held for 02 days starting August 08.

Similarly, Combined Medical Services Examination, 2020 will be held on October 22, Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, 2020 on December 20, and Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2020 on January 08, 2021.
