Bulandshahr (UP): A 65-year-old woman was set ablaze allegedly by her daughter-in-law over a family feud at Qila Mohalla here.

 

Rukmani was admitted to a hospital with burn injuries after she was allegedly set afire by Divya, 25.

"We have arrested Divya," SHO, Ahmadgarh, Dharmesh Kumar, said.

 

Divya, a mother of three, however claimed that Rukmani had attempted self immolation, the SHO said.

Her husband Brijbhushan, a farm labourer, was in the house at the time of the incident.
