Ararat
(Turkey): A squad of investigators from the religious
association, Noah’s Ark Ministries International, has proclaimed
that they have found the leftovers of Noah’s Ark on Mount Ararat in
Turkey. They obtained the wood sample and examined them in Iran,
where they were carbon dated and understood to be 4800 years old.
Noah’s Ark Ministries International, in a recent press conference,
demonstrated their conclusions, and uttered that they were 99.9
percent certain that a wooden structure located at a 12,000-ft.
elevation and dated as 4,800 years old was indeed Noah’s Ark.
Dr. Randall Price is an evangelical Christian, who was the
archeologist for the Chinese-led side in 2008. However, he has
declared that appropriate scrutiny may exhibit that this whole
discovery is nothing more than a joke. He has incompatibility with
several issues linked to the pronouncement. He has stated that the
possible hoax may also reflect the naïve and unpleasantly innocent
nature of Christians.
Despite disparagement and disagreement with their conclusion, the
members of the Chinese-Turkish team have stuck to their guns. Yeung
Wing-cheung, one of the six team members, who entered the structure
on Mount Ararat last October, mentioned that the only documentation
of a wooden structure on Mount Ararat is Noah’s Ark.
Many Christians deem that Noah’s Ark came to take a break somewhere
in Turkey. According to the Book of Genesis, God transported a
massive inundation to obliterate the earth because of man’s impiety
and evilness. However, God uttered to Noah, the honorable man in his
generation, that he construct a huge vessel to rescue and shelter
his family.
