New Delhi: The Delhi Police on Saturday filed a chargesheet against two suspected Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorists for their involvement in the 2008 serial blasts.

A series of bomb blasts rocked the capital September 13, 2008, killing 26 people and leaving 135 others injured.

The chargesheet against Salman Ahmad and Mohammed Shahzad was submitted in a sealed cover to Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kaveri Baweja.

The court would take up the case on May 20.

On May 5, Judge Baweja had allowed the police 10 days' time to file a chargesheet against the duo.

Out of the 14 arrested, Shahzad, Salman and Hakim are lodged in the Tihar Jail.

Nine other accused arrested in this case are at present in a Gujarat jail for investigations into their alleged roles in serial blasts in Ahmedabad.
