New Delhi: Muslim candidates should not opt for civil services as a job, rather a mission, said IAS topper of this year Shah Faesal addressing at the first training workshop of Zakat Foundation of India’s 2011 batch of civil services aspirants.
ZFI has selected 28 candidates from across the country for Prelim of 2011 civil services exam.
Faesal, the first Kashmiri youth to top India’s most prestigious exam, said “Muslim youths take consider civil services as a difficult task but I think they should accept it as a challenge.”
“Though I have been selected for IAS, but it is a mission for me. Service to humanity is the greatest mission and through civil services we can do this service easily,” he further said.
ZFI president, Dr Syed Zafar Mahmood, while addressing the batch of aspiring civil servants for the year 2011 exam, said that by accepting a challenge, the hidden abilities of a man come out. He said his coaching program for civil services is also a big mission.
