Bhopal: The orders for increasing
the dearness allowance of the Madhya Pradesh government officers
and employees by 10 per cent have been issued on the first day of
the new financial year here on Friday. Now, the government
servants will get 45 percent DA.
Implementing its earlier announcement, the state government
approved the new DA installment on the first day of the financial
year 2011-12 and intimated its decision to all the departmental
heads, departmental, divisional commissioners and district
collectors.
According to the orders issued by Finance Secretary Ashwini Kumar,
DA is payable to the officers and employees at the rate of 35 per
cent with effect from October 2010 on basic pay and grade pay. Now
the government staff will be paid DA at the rate of 45 per cent
with effect from April 1, 2011. The employees will get the
increased DA with the salary for April in the month of May 2011.
