Islamabad:
At least 33 people were killed Thursday morning when flash floods
swept through a valley in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province,
a media report said.
Dozens of houses were destroyed by the flood which was triggered
by heavy rains overnight in Kohistan district, Xinhua reported
citing a TV channel.
Rescue helicopters were pressed into service.
