Pakistani women entrepreneurs showcase their craft

Islamabad:
Garments, leather goods, jewellery, handmade embroidery, dresses,
decoration pieces, traditional pots, and bridal accessories are on
display at a two-day exposition here of products made by young
Pakistani women entrepreneurs.
The Young Women Entrepreneurs Eid Expo started here Thursday.
Samina Fazil, president of Islamabad Women's Chamber of Commerce
and Industry (IWCCI), said that such expositions reflect the role
that women entrepreneurs play in the economy.
She that women could play a very active role in economic revival
of the country if they are given proper opportunities to explore
their potentials.
Daily Times quoted her as saying that such initiatives should be
lauded by the business community.
