Government going back on Hazare demand, says Bhushan

New Delhi: Barely an hour after government decided to put for vote Anna Hazare's resolution on Lokpal Bill, a Team Anna member said without specifying the time that the fasting Gandhian will break his fast Sunday.

Confirming this Kiran Bedi, another team member tweeted, "Anna Hazare (is) unlikely to break his fast tonight because he does not do so after sunset."

The development came after the government agreed to adopt by a voice vote in parliament Anna Hazare's demands on a Lokpal bill.

The debate in both houses of parliament on fasting Hazare's demands will be followed by a resolution that will reflect a unanimous sense of the two houses, the sources said.

In response to this Team Anna Hazare said they have received a communication from the government that a resolution carrying their demands on Lokpal bill will be put to a voice vote, a move which they termed as a "very happy" development.
