Don't project Hyderabad as Terror hub: A.K. Khan

Saturday July 23, 2011 08:19:17 PM, Agencies

Hyderabad: It is wrong to connect every act of terrorism in the country with Hyderabad. Media should avoid such things, City Police Commissioner A.K. Khan said in a press conference.

He told the press persons not to link every terrorist activity with a person from Hyderabad or the city of Hyderabad.

He was referring to the three bomb blasts recently occurred in Mumbai. Investigations are in progress by National Intelligence Agency and Anti-Terrorist Squad of Maharashtra.

"So far no investigating agency has contacted him. Had there been any involvement of any person from Hyderabad, he would have been definitely contacted", he added.

He categorically said that no culprit can escape the police and advised the media to play a responsible role.
