AIUDF releases 1st list, may back Mahanta in Samaguri

Malegaon: The All India United Democratic Front of Assam today released the first list of the candidates for the phase of the state elections.


In the first list that the party released today include a total of 31 candidates. They are: (Ratabari) Sri Priyada Ranjan Mallick, (Patherkandi) Sri Kartika Sen Sinha, (Karimganj North) Abdul Muqtadir Choudhury, (Karimganj South) Dr. K. M. Baharul Islam, (Badarpur) Helel Uddin Choudhury, (Hailakandi) Alhaj Selimuddin Barbhuiya, (Katlichera) Sri Jyotish Chandra Dey, (Silchar) Sri Dibakar Bhattacharjee, (Sonai) Jabarut Alom Choudhury, (Dholai) Sri Ratindra Das Laskar, (Udharbond) Sri T. H. Nanda Singha, (Lakhipur) Alhaj Md. Chouba Miah, (Barkhola) Mohammad Ali Laskar, (Katigora) Maulana Ataur Rahman Mazarbhuiya, (Barchala) Sri Karunakanta Medhi, (Tezpur) Sri Manik Gogoi, (Rangapara) Sahidur Rahman, (Biswanath) Hifzur Rahman, (Behali) Sri Malay Das, (Dergaon) (SC) Sri Ghanashyam Hazarika, (Titabar) Sri Subodh Dutta, (Amguri) Sri Jayanta Gogoi, Nazira Safiquddin Ahmed, (Mahmara) Sri Sujit Kumar Sahu, (Sivasagar) Amanuddin Ahmed, (Nowbicha) Mamun Imdadul Haque Choudhury, (Lakhimpur) Md. Dilwar Hussain, (Dibrugarh) Parvij Khan, (Naharkatia) Imran Uddin Ahmed, (Tinsukia) Sri Anata Hazarika and (Dumduma) Sri Bharat Yadav.


The party is also weighing the option to support Mahanta, who is fighting the election from Samaruri.
