Job quota for destitute women Tamil Nadu police

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa Monday reserved 10 percent of jobs in the police for destitute women.

A statement issued here by the government said that out of the 30 percent police jobs reserved for women, 10 percent will be for the destitute women.

The reservation will be applicable for recruitments done by the police recruitment board for the posts of jail wardens and constables.
