New Delhi: The Jamia Millia Islamia Thursday declared the results of its Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course a few hours after the exam got over, leaving the students thrilled.

"We were able to declare the final results of our B.Ed. annual examinations on the same day on which the final paper was held today i.e. 10 May 2012," said a statement issued by the 92-year-old university.

"The paper ended at 1 p.m. and by 5 p.m. the results were declared... the students were thrilled to know that their results were out so quickly," added the statement.

According to the Jamia, the B.Ed. course is one of the most sought after programmes in the varsity.
