Jordanian ambassador visits Aligarh Muslim University

Aligarh: Jordan's ambassador to India Mohammad El Fayez Thursday visited Aligarh Muslim University here and interacted with students from the middle-eastern country studying at the varsity.

Mohammad El Fayez, with two other diplomatic officials, also met vice chancellor Gen. (Retd.) Zameer Uddin Shah.

He said the university was considered a centre of knowledge and enlightenment in Jordan.

The vice chancellor said the university would provide all possible facilities to overseas students and was willing to accommodate more students from Jordan.
