Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will declare online the Class 10 (Matric) results 2016 on Saturday May 28, Bihar board's online partner Indiaresults.com announced in a statement.
Once declared, the results will be available at the Bihar board official website, the link for which is http://www.biharboard.ac.in.
The Bihar board Class 10 or Secondary results will also be available for download on http://bihar.indiaresults.com/bseb/default.htm.
Around 15 lakh candidates appeared for the Class 10 i.e. Class X examination conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) from March 11 to March 18.
In order to download the results, candidates should visit the official website and click on 'Class 10th (Matric) Exam Result 2016 Will Be Declared on 28 May 2016 Now Available' link.
On the page which gets open, the candidates should enter their roll number and click on 'Submit' button. The results will appear on the screen. The candidates must take a print-out for future reference.
To get the Bihar board result 2016 for Class 10 (Matric) on Mobile phone, you can send the following SMS to 56263:

For example, if your Roll Code is 11001 & Roll Number is 00001, then you must SMS - BIHAR10 1100100001. Send this SMS to 56263.
Last year, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) declared the Bihar 10th Result on 20 June 2015. The Class 10 exams were held in the month of March the same year, starting 17 March. A total of 14,09,173 students had appeared for the exams in 2015. The pass percentage in 2015 was 75.15% with almost 25% of failures.
The Bihar board Class 10 (Matric) results 2016 was expected to be declared on May 23 but it was later postponed.
The Bihar board declared the results of Class 12 Inter Science stream results on May 10 and Class 12 Inter Commerce stream results on May 17.
The Bihar School Examination Board is established for holding and conducting an examination at the end of the Secondary School stage, for prescribing course of studies for such examination and for carrying out such other objects and duties as may be considered necessary for the purpose as stated in the Act, Rules and Regulations of the Board.
Normally every year the Bihar School Examination Board conducts Annual Secondary School Examination in the month of February/March and Supplementary School Examination in the month of August/September on the basis of course/syllabus as prescribed by the state Government.
Apart from the aforesaid Secondary School Examination, the Board also conducts departmental examinations (not on yearly basis) such as Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Training Examination on such terms and condition as laid down by the State Government.
