Patna: Putting an end to wild speculations and over a month of wait the Bihar board exclusive partner to display all board exam results on Wednesday said the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Class 10 (Matric) results 2017 will be declared on Thursday June 22.
"Bihar SChool Examination Board - Class 10th (Matric) Exam Result 2017 Will Be Declared on Thursday June 22, 2017", IndiaResults, BSEB exclusive partner to display the result said.
IndiaResults has not mentioned any specific time. But, some other reports have claimed that the Bihar Matric result 2017 will be out at 02:00 pm on Thursday June 22.
The Bihar board decalres the BSEB Class X Matric results on the official website, the link for which is biharboard.ac.in.
Candidates can follow the steps given as under in order to download the results.
Steps to check Bihar board Matric Class 10 results 2017:
- Candidates should visit the official website biharboard.ac.in or bihar.indiaresults.com
- Click on the appropriate link marked with "Class 10 Matric Result 2017"
- Enter Roll Number
- Click on Get Result button
The results will appear on the screen. The candidates must take a print-out for future reference.
To get the Bihar board result 2016 for Class 10 (Matric) on Mobile phone, you can send the following SMS to 56263:
BIHAR10<space>Roll Code + Roll number
For example, if your Roll Code is 11001 & Roll Number is 00001, then you must SMS - BIHAR10 1100100001. Send this SMS to 56263.
Media reports quoting Board Chairman Anand Kishor had earlier said that the board has prepared the result of the Class 10 Matric students and will release it any time on or before June 15. However on June 15 it was reported that the Bihar Matric results will be out on June 17. On June 17 students were told that they have to wait till today i.e. June 20 when the results will be released online.
Accordingly the students were hooked to the internet for the whole today. But the Bihar board did not release the Matric result on Tuesday June 20.
The Bihar board declared the Class 12 Inter results on May 30. It is learnt that taking note of the recent controversy about Bihar Intermediate topper, the board is taking extra caution to avoid any such discrepancies in the matric result this year.
Around 15 lakh candidates appeared for the Class 10 i.e. Class X examination conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) from March 01 to March 08.
The Bihar School Examination Board is established for holding and conducting an examination at the end of the Secondary School stage, for prescribing course of studies for such examination and for carrying out such other objects and duties as may be considered necessary for the purpose as stated in the Act, Rules and Regulations of the Board.
Normally every year the Bihar School Examination Board conducts Annual Secondary School Examination in the month of February/March and Supplementary School Examination in the month of August/September on the basis of course/syllabus as prescribed by the state Government.
Apart from the aforesaid Secondary School Examination, the Board also conducts departmental examinations (not on yearly basis) such as Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Training Examination on such terms and condition as laid down by the State Government.
