Odisha BSE Result 2018

Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha has officially confirmed to declare the results of the 2018 Class 10 or Matric or HSC Secondary Exam on Monday May 07, 2018. The BSE HSC result 2018 will be declared on the board's website bseodisha.ac.in.

“The Board will announce the results of Class 10 examination on Monday May 07, 2018. The School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra is expected to declare the results from the board office, said the board official", a BSE official said while addressing a press conference.

The BSE Odisha Matric result will be declared at 09:00 am on Monday. The Odisha class 10th students can check their result from bseodisha.ac.in.

How To chek Odisha Matric Result 2018

  1. Log in to BSE Orissa website: bseodisha.ac.in.
  2. Click on the "Result" tab on the menu bar
  3. Fill in the required details and click on submit
  4. Your result should appear on the screen

BSE Class X results 2018 are also accessible at orissaresults.nic.in, and results.nic.in and odisha.indiaresults.com.

Around 5.90 lakh students had appeared for the board examination this year that was conducted at around 2,818 centres. The HSC or Class X or Madhayama exam began on February 23 and continued till March 08, 2018.

The BSE Orissa had in the past four years declared the Class 10 results before April 30. In 2017, BSE-Orissa announced the result of Class X (Madhayama or Matric) Exam 2017 Regular / Ex-Regular on April 26, 2017 at 10:00 am. In 2016, BSE-Orissa announced the result of Class X (Madhayama or Matric) Exam 2016 Regular / Ex-Regular on April 27, 2016 at 09:45 am. Odisha result 2018 however are delayed by more than a week.

The overall passing 2017 percentage was 85.28%. The girls had maintained the consistency in their performance. The total pass percentage of the boys was 82% in comparison with the girls pass percentage of 85%.

In 2016, the state registered an impressive 83% overall pass percent. Over 6.1 lakh students including 2,46,240 girl students had appeared for the BSE Odisha Class 10 exam in 2016.

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha is a Body Corporate constituted under the Odisha Secondary Education Act, 1953. It regulates, controls and developes Secondary Education in the State of Odisha. It Provides varied courses in order to equip students for different occupations, to prepare them for University education and to equip them for various cultural purposes.
