New Delhi: Though the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not announced any specific date so far, it is most likely that it will release the OMR Sheets and Responses of the candidates and the official Answer Keys of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - UG (NEET 2018) before the end of the next week.
The CBSE has however fixed June 05 as the tentative date to declare the NEET 2018 results. Hence it is most likely that the NEET 2018 official Answer Keys and OMR Sheets should be declared any moment, most likely in the next ten days.
Unlike announcing the tentative date for NEET 2018 result declartion, the CBSE has not fixed any date to release NEET 2018 Answer Key and OMR Sheets of the candidates. But, as per traditions, CBSE releases NEET Official Answer Keys 1-2 weeks before declaration of result.
"The CBSE will display Answer Key of the questions giving opportunity to the candidates to challenge in case of any ambiguity in the answer on the website cbseneet.nic.in. For exact date of display of Answer Key, candidates may remain in touch with website", NEET 2018 Information Bulletin says under the heading DISPLAY OF ANSWER KEY FOR CHALLENGE.
Similary under the heading DISPLAY OF OMR SHEETS AND RESPONSES ON WEBSITE, NEET 2018 Information Bulletin says, "The CBSE will display the images of OMR Answer Sheets and Responses graded by the Machine of all the candidates on the website www.cbseneet.nic.in. For exact date of display the images of OMR Answer Sheets and Responses, candidates may remain in touch with website."
How to Challenge NEET Answer Keys
Candidates should also note that after the official Answer Keys are released, the CBSE gives a chance to challenge them in case of any error.
"Candidates will be given an opportunity to make online challenge against the Answer Key on payment of
Rs.1000/- per answer challenged. Rs.1000/- per answer will be refunded to candidate if his/her challenge
is accepted by the Board", it adds.
All Candidates who appeared for NEET - 2018 must remain in touch with the websites of CBSE, MOHFW, Medical Counselling Committee (www.mcc.nic.in) and Participating States/Universities/ Institutions till conclusion of final round of Counselling.

According to the CBSE, a total of 13,26,725 candidates from India and abroad had registered for NEET 2018. Of them, 5,80,648 were boys, 7,46,076 girls and 01 transgender. Among them were 13,23,672 Indians, 530 OCI, 1,842 NRIs, 60 PIO and 621 foreigners. NEET 2018 was held at 2,255 exam centres in 136 cities.
National Eligibility and Entrance Test or NEET is the one examination which would be considered for filling around 54,000 restorative seats the nation over. This examination is likewise valid for applying to private universities across the country.
