Chennai: The Directorate of Government Examinations Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) has declared online the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (TBSE SSLC) 10th results 2018 on its official as well as associate websites today on Wednesday May 23, 2018.

The overall pass percentage of TN SSLC 2018 is 94.5%. The pass percentage of boys is 92.5 and that of girls is 96.4 per cent.

A total of 9402 students obtain 481 marks. Sivagangai district registering highest pass percent at 98.5 with Erode at 98.38 per cent followed by Virudhunagar at 98.29 per cent. Chennai district’s pass percentage imporved from 93.8 last year to 94.2 this year.

The pass percentage of government schools is 91.36. An impressive 96.18% of the total students have passed in Mathematics. But, Science subject has recorded the highest pass percentage of 98.47.

Steps to check Tamil Nadu SSL Results 2018

  • Enter Your Registration Number and Date of Birth
  • Click on Get Marks

Candidates can also check their results at dge.tn.gov.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, tnresults.nic.in and dge1.tn.nic.in. The students can get their result via SMS, by registering their mobile number on the official website. The result is also available via the App, the candidates have to download the result app from the Google play store. Students will be able to obtain their provisional mark sheets on May 28 from their respective schools.

The TN SSLC Class 10th examination 2018 was conducted from March 16-April 20. About 10 lakh students from different districts of the state appeared for the SSLC 2018 exam.

In 2017, 9,82,097 students appeared for Tamil Nadu Class 10 examination. The pass percentage was 94.4%. The Tamil Nadu board SSLC results were declared on May 25 in 2016. A total of 10,23,566 students had appeared in 2016 and the state had recorded a pass percentage of 93.60%. R. Sivakumar and Prema Sudha shared the top rank.

The Tamil Nadu State Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) declared Plus 2 HSC Class 12 result 2018 on May 16. The overall pass percentage on TN Plus 2 was 91.1% with 87.70% boys and 94.10% girls have passed. A total of 6754 schools scored 100% results. Virudhnagar is top among districts securing 97 per cent. District Erode stands at the second position with 96.3%. Performance of Chennai district has marginally improved from 92.99% to last year's 93.09%.
