New Delhi: A
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team Tuesday reached
corporate lobbyist Niira Radia's house in Delhi to question her
further in the 2G spectrum scam.
The team of sleuths was accompanied by women officers for the
first formal questioning of Radia in irregularities in the
allocation of 2G spectrum.
CBI officials Monday questioned former Telecom Regulatory
Authority of India (TRAI) chief Pradeep Baijal, whose premises
were raided by the CBI last week along with Radia, former
communications minister A. Raja and others linked to him.
Baijal was the TRAI boss between 2004 and 2008. He joined Radia's
firm in 2009. The Enforcement Directorate too has grilled Radia
about her role in the spectrum allocation.
