Bhopal: Family members of slain RSS activist Sunil Joshi, who was allegedly involved in Malegaon and Samjhauta Express blasts, have demanded a CBI probe into his murder in 2007.

Chanchal Joshi, daughter of Sunil's brother Anil, told mediapersons here last evening that a proper investigation was needed to find out the real cause of Joshi's murder.

Chanchal alleged Malegaon blast accused Pragya Singh Thakur had visited Sunil's house after the murder and took away a briefcase containing his belongings.

She also claimed local RSS workers tried to ensure that the news of Joshi's murder did not reach the family immediately.
