Abu Dhabi: Abu
Dhabi has announced an award to recognise and honour health
professionals in the Gulf region for their outstanding achievement
in the field.
The Health Authority - Abu Dhabi (HAAD) launched the Abu Dhabi
Medical Distinction Award to acknowledge professionals who have
contributed to the enhancement of the healthcare system and to
encourage medical and scientific research, honour voluntary work
and promote philanthropy, a statement said.
The award categories include surgical performance, clinical
performance, medical research, medical teaching, allied health,
health administration and management, clinical diagnostics and
laboratory and medical volunteering.
