New Delhi: The
long-awaited cabinet reshuffle is likely to be held Tuesday
evening, informed sources said.
Though there is no official announcement yet, the reshuffle is
likely to take place at 5 p.m., the sources said.
The Prime
Minister's Office (PMO) has already told the president's office
to make the preparations, they added.
Congress president Sonia Gandhi Monday held consultations - the
fourth in three weeks - with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh
regarding the reshuffle.
Tuesday's reshuffle will be the second one of the 25-month United
Progressive Alliance (UPA)-II government.
The reshuffle comes in the wake of a series of corruptions scams,
which forced two ministers - A. Raja and Dayanidhi Maran - to quit
office and tarnished the image of the UPA-II government.
