Google brain teasers test your job skills

Wednesday September 26, 2012 08:26:32 PM, IANS

London: Want to work at Google? Brace yourself to answer perplexing trivia questions and riddles, claims a book that gives tips to increase the chances of getting hired.

Author William Poundstone in his book reveals the secret of acing an interview at Google and other top technology firms, the Daily Mail reported Wednesday.

In "Are you smart enough to work at Google", Poundstone gives tips to increase an applicant's chances of not only getting hired by Google, but anywhere.

Poundstone outlines several of the brain teasers that are said to be used by actual Google interviewers, from "How much toilet paper would you need to cover Texas" to "Can you swim faster in water or syrup?"

Google would not comment on Poundstone's book, but some are quick to point out that the questions that have been circulating the web for several years are works of fiction.
