Bengaluru: Karnataka’s Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE) is set to declare online the results of Second Year Pre-University (PUC) or Class 12 examinations held in March 2018 today on Monday April 30, 2018, it is officially confirmed by the board.
Though the Karnataka board has not mentioned the exact time of the result declarartion it is most likely to be declared, as earlier, at 03:00 pm on Monday April 30. However, there are reports that the Karnakata PUC result could be declared at 11:30 today morning.
Students can check their results from the official website of the department or pue.kar.nic.in or karresults.nic.in.
How to check Karnataka PUC 2018 results
- Go to the official website, pue.kar.nic.in or karresults.nic.in
- Click on the relevant link
- Enter your roll number, date of birth in the correct format
- Click on Submit
- Your results should appear on the screen. Take a printout for future use
The Karnataka PUC 2087 exams were conducted in the month of March 2018. Colleges prepare cut-offs for undergraduate courses on the basis of pass percentage in Karnataka Board PUC exams. The admissions are granted to different undergraduate courses considering the merit in the Karnataka 2nd PUC exams.
More than 07 lakh students enroll in Pre-University courses every year in Karnataka and DPUE offers 23 subjects, 11 languages and 50 combinations for the pre-university curriculum for Class 11 and 12 students.
Last year, a total of 6,79,061 candidates had appeared for the exams, out of which 5,43,443 appeared for the first time. The Karnataka PUC results were declared on May 11 in the year 2017. The 2018 12th PUC results are declared earlier because of the Karnataka Assembly elections scheduled to be held on May 12.
The Department of Pre-University, Government of Karnataka is a regulatory body that manages and looks after the higher secondary education in the state. The department operates under the Department of Primary & Secondary Education of the state government and is entrusted the responsibility to develop higher education in Karnataka. The PUE Department, Karnataka also conducts the annual Karnataka 2nd PU Board Exam in the state.
