Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Board of School Education (MPBSE) is likely to declare the results of High School Certificate (HSC) or Class 10 i.e Class X HSC 2018 board exam in the 3rd or 4th week of May, officials said.
The Madhya Pradesh Board of School Education (MPBSE) official, who is not named, has been quoted as saying by various media reports that the MP board High School Certificate (HSC) or Class 10 i.e Class X HSC 2018 result will be declared only after May 15 - delayed by about a week if compared with the last year. The MP board had declared the High School Certificate (HSC) or Class 10 i.e Class X HSC 2017 result on May 12. In 2016, the MP board Class 10 result was declared on May 16.

The students can also check their MP Board Class 10 or HSC results 2018 on the official website www.mpresults.nic.in, mpbse.mponline.gov.in, mpbse.nic.in, ExamResults.net, MPEducation.net indiaresults.com results.mpeducation.net, knowyourresult.com. The students can also check their results via mobile by downloading the "Know your result" app or visiting mpmobile.gov.in
- To check the results, a student is needed to go to any of the above listed website.
- Click on 'HSC Exam Result 2018'
- Enter roll number and name
- Click on "Submit"
- The results will be displayed on the screen
- Save the results and take a print out for further reference.
A total of 11,48,000 students appeared for the 2018 Class 10 exam held from March 5 to March 31. The Madhya Pradesh board had introduced several measures, including separate question papers and formatted laptops and tablets, for disabled students in the state to help write their answers and extra time of one hour.
The state also decided to book students found cheating with imprisonment up to 03 years and fine up to Rs 5,000. The decision was taken to check use of unfair means. Teachers at the exam centres were also barred from using mobile phones, tablets and other electronic gadgets.
In 2017 Class 10 exam held from March 2 to March 27, the pass percentage was 49.9 (51.46 for girls and 48.5 for boys). The state had recorded an overall pass percent of 53.87% in 2016.
