Mumbai: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has started receiving from today i.e. Monday June 04 the online applications from the students who wish to appear for the July 2018 Supplementary/Repeaters HSC (Class12) Examination.
The state board in an official release said that the online process for the exam, scheduled to be held in the month of July has started today on Monday June 04, 2018. The last date of appilcation is Wednesday June 13.
"A candidate can however submit his or her application with late fees till Monday June 18, 2018", the official notification released on the board's website said. The detailed time table of the Maharashtra board the July 2018 Supplementary/Repeaters HSC (Class12) Examination will be released soon.
The supplementary exams for students who failed in HSC and SSC board exams were earlier conducted in September-October. However, they are now being conducted in July in order to save the academic year of students.
The Maharashtra board declared the HSC Class 12 results on May 30, 2018. Gawade Amol Dilip has secured the top position in the Maharashtra HSC 2018 exam. He scored 642 out of the total 650 marks, according to the Maharashtra HSC 2018 result declared by MSBSHSE today afternoon.
The second position is grabbed by Amit Kisan who scored 639 out of 650. The third rank is shared by three students — Chavan Dhanashri Eknath, Sahu Ritika Ramnaresh, Aditya Surendrakumar. They scored 637 out of 650 each, according to the Maharshtra board.
The Maharashra state registered an overall pass percentage of 88.41% in the the Higher Secondary School (HSC) Class 12th board March 2018 exams. As many as 5,486 candidates have score more than 90% marks.
With a pass percentage of 92.36%, girls have outperformed boys. Boys registered a pass percentage of 85.23%. A total of 5379 handicapped students had appeared for the exams out of them 5,374 have passed bringing the pass percentage to 91.78.
The results of Maharashtra HSC Science, Arts and Commerce all three streams and of all nine regions in Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Latur, Nagpu, Amravati and Ratnagiri have been declared today by the Maharashtra state education board.
The board while declaring the HSC 2018 results also said that students who wish to apply for rechecking can apply through the procedure. The student who wish to obtain their answer books can do so before June 18.
