Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2019: In an impressive performance, as many as 1281 schools of Tamil Nadu have scored 100% results in TN HSE +2 March 2019 board exam result of which was declared today morning.
A record 91.3 percent students have cleared the Tamil Nadu 12th 2019 examination this year. A quick analysis of result showed, girls outperforming the boys with 93.64% of them clearing the exam while 88.57% cleared among boys. Around 1281 schools achieved 100% results.
The overall pass percentage is 91.30% with 88.57% boys and 93.64% girls passing the coveted exam. Last year the overall pass percentage was 91.10%.
Thirupur shined again with 95.37 per cent result. Erode registered a pass percentage of 95.23 per cent and Perambalur 95.15 per cent registered.
Candidates can also check their results at dge.tn.gov.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, tnresults.nic.in and dge1.tn.nic.in.
To get Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2019 as an SMS on phone, candidates will have to register the mobile number at the official websites.
Candidates are advised to contact their school to obtain hard copy of mark sheet from April 20, 2019 to April 26, 2019. Private candidates can obtain the statement of marks from 09.00 am on April 24 to April 26, 2019 from the website www.dge.tn.nic.in.
The Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Examination 2019 were conducted from March 01 to March 19, 2019 at 7091 exam centres across the state. As per the board statistics, the maximum number of students wrote examination in the Tamil Medium.
The TN board is declaring 12th result 2019 about a month in advance. The TNBSE Class 12 Plus Two, also known as HSC and PUC results, in 2018 were declared on May 16 whereas the 2017 result was announced on May 12.
In 2018, the overall pass percentage is 91.10% with 87.70% boys and 94.10% girls have passed. A total of 8,93,262 students took the exam in March in 2017 and 8,22,838 passed the 2018 TNBSE Plus 2 exam.
The overall pass percentage in 2017 was 92.1%. While the pass percentage for girls was 94.5%, it was 89.3% for boys. A total of 8.93 lakh students appeared for the TN Board HSC 2017 examinations. A total of 8,33,682 students had appeared for the 2016 exam and the pass percentage was 91.4%.
The Government of Tamil Nadu have constituted a new Board for School Examination viz "Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination" by merging the existing two separate boards (1) Board of Secondary Education and (2) Board of Higher Secondary Examinations.
