Those madrasa teachers who are teaching computer science will be eligible to be enrolled for the course. A limited number of candidates will be selected by the officials of the center. Among them priority will be given to those who are aged below 50 and interested in computer using with having basic knowledge of English language.

The Centre will deploy experts for training of the candidates and won’t charge for accommodation and food during the course.

“The primary aim of this course is to promote computer science in madarsas and to provide an opportunity to madarsa teachers to sit with the University teachers to discuss the matters related to subject” said Professor Nahid Bano, Director of the Centre.

The Centre for Promotion of Science came into existence in 1985 with the aim to create awareness amongst Indian Muslims about the importance of acquiring scientific knowledge.
