Malegaon: Come January 25 and the girl-students at
Kulliyah Aisha Siddiqua at Mansoora in Malegaon will find them in
the new college building.
"The new college
building for the girl-students, the construction for which was on
since last one year, is complete and it will be inaugurated on
January 25 this Monday", said Secretary
Jamia Mohammadia Education
Society (JMES) Arshad Mukhtar.
"The new building will
be inaugurated by noted Scholar and Editor of Sirat-e-Mustaqueem,
Birmingham (UK) Maulana Abdul Hadi at 10:00 in the morning", he added.
Secretary
of Milli Council Maulana Abdul Wahab Khilji, President Jamiat Ahle
Hadees Greater Mumbai Maulana Abdus Salama Salafi and
President Jamiat Ahle Hadees Maharashtra Dr. Saeed Ah Faizee
will grace the occasion as chief guests, he said.
The
inauguration of the new building is expected to double the number of
girl-students currently studying in the college.
The inaugural function
to be held on January 25 will follow a Seminar on the Importance of
Education specially Female Education. It will be held at the
Mansoora Auditorium, he added.
"The purpose of
organising this seminar is to highlight the importance of education
and to create an awareness among the Muslim masses", Arshad Mukhtar said, "This
is no secret that Islam clearly directs its followers - whether
male or female - to acquire knowledge. The first Ayah that was
revealed to the Holy Prophet was ‘Iqra’. The word in itself is a
clear directive for every Muslim irrespective of their genders to
acquire education", he said
Founded in 1979,
Jamia Mohammadia Education Society
(JMES) runs a chain
of Educational Institutions in India. The society follows a
specially designed syllabus that covers both Islamic and Modern
education.
Beginning from
Malegaon, the society now has its educational activities in Banglore, Maunath Bhanjan, Aakot and
Dhule.
At every location, it
has special arrangements and well-furnished and suitable
hostel facilities for girl-students.
All the JMES institutes
are recognised by the respective education boards in the states. The
JMES students after completing their course from Mansoora and other
branches are eligible for admission at Jamia Islamia Madinah
Munawwara, Saudi Arabia and Jamia Islamia, New Delhi.
The JMES is also trying
to obtain affiliation from other Indian and foreign Universities,
said Arshad Mukhtar.
