Following an invitation by the Nehru Centre in London, Artmantram would not only exhibit art but also present Indian dances and music by the members.
Artmantram Director Raji Narayana, addressing a press conference here today said, ''This was for the first time our troupe is going abroad. We are very happy to showcase our Indian Contemporary Art work at London."
"This would not only create a stage for talented artistes to exhibit thier potential but also would gather a huge mass of art lovers and other artistes too", he added.
The five-day programme would begin with Kuchipudi Dance recitalby 'Srigaramani' Arunima Kumar and the invocation will include Mohiniattam Dance by Famous Artiste 'Kalaimamani' Gopikamarma.
Artmantaram Chairman Shama Sethi said, "The art exhibition gives a platform for the young artistes to exhibit their talent which otherwise goes unrecognized and would make it difficult for the budding artistes to survive in the field of art''.
