"Since the approval of the amendment to the statutes is yet to be received from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Aligarh Muslim University Murshidabad Center slated for September 26, 2010 has been postponed", says AMU PRO Dr. Rahat Abrar.

 

"The fresh date of the postponed programme will be notified soon after the University receives the awaited approvals", he added.

 

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in a landmark decision taken December 2008, decided to establish its off-campus centers in five different states of the country.
