AMU centers at Murshidabad, Malappuram begin
admission process

Aligarh: The AMU
community is jubilant as its newly established centres moved one
more step forward today. The process of selection of candidates
for the MBA course was set in motion with the Interview/Aptitude
Test and Group Discussion being held today at AMU Malappuram
Centre, Kerala.
A team of experts comprising Prof. Javed Akhtar, Dean Facult of
Management Studies, Prof. M. Khalid Azam, Chairman, Department of
Business Administration, Prof. Pervez Talib, Department of
Business Administration and Prof. HAS Yahya, OSD, Malappuram
Centre were engaged in the marathon exercise.
On the basis of an entrance test 132 candidates were shortlisted
for the 60 seats in MBA course. The interview, aptitude test and group
discussion for MBA programme at Aligarh Muslim University
Murshidabad Centre will be held next week on January 20, 2011.
Earlier 148 candidates who appeared in Aligarh Centre were
interviewed and Aptitude Assessment and Group Discussion was
completed in AMU to prepare a merit list for both the AMU off
campuses.
The admission process of BALLB course is in advanced stage and the
selected candidates who have been offered admission were asked to
get their admissions completed on January 17, 2011 by verifying
documents at both the Murshidabad and Malappuram Centres.
In line with the declared schedule
of commencement of classes, the AMU new Centres will witness the
teaching and other academic activities by the end of this month
belying apprehensions and prophesies of all prophets of dooms that
AMU new centres will not see the light of the day.
