Abu Dhabi: The Abu
Dhabi University has celebrated the cultural diversity of its
faculty and students as part of its annual International Day
function.
The participants had the opportunity to savor traditional food
items, and listen to different music, among other activities, held
to mark the occasion.
Chancellor Nabil Ibrahim praised the hard work put in in
organising the event.
"Abu Dhabi University prides itself on being a culturally diverse
institution. This diversity is visible not only in our student
body but also members of our staff and faculty, who come from many
different walks of life.
"In addition to high standards of academia, we believe that
interactions within a diverse community are vital to personal
growth," he said.
