Arms, explosives seized from Pune businessman

Pune: A substantial
quantity of arms and explosives were seized from a businessman
arrested in this Maharashtra city Sunday, police said.
Gopal Khatri was detained late Saturday by the Pune Crime Branch
near a hotel in Kalewadi Road of Hinjewadi suburb on the outskirts
of the city, a police officer said.
A search revealed a pistol and three locally-made guns with eight
live cartridges.
Police also recovered one kg of ammonium nitrate, 10 detonators
and eight gelatin sticks, all used to make and trigger explosives.
