Malayalam artist Manzoor passes away

Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalam drama-cinema artist Manzoor, who was hospitalised following a fall from a terrace, passed away at the Medical College Hospital here. He was 38.

Manzoor was rushed to the hospital Sunday after he fell from the terrace of a friend's residence at Sreekaryam. He succumbed to the injuries Tuesday. He was a bachelor.

Son of Hussain Seth and Fathima, Manzoor was earlier an employee of Chalathchitra Academy and teamed up with superstar Mohanlal in the drama "Chayamukhi".

He was in "Abhinaya" troupe for the past many years and his last work was a video film - "Sree Krishnan Marupaathai".
