New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released on the UGC NET Official website ntanet.nic.in Question Papers and Response Sheets of the candidates who had appeared for the UGC NET December 2018 exams. According to the NTA sources, UGC NET 2018 Answer Keys is set to be published soon.
The Question Paper and candidates' response sheets can be downloaded through log in using Application number and Password or Date of Birth. Candidates should note that the UGC NET Question Paper and Response Sheets will remain available for download ony till December 28 up to 05:00 pm.
"Candidates are advised to save their question paper and responses for future reference, and for challenging answer keys, the facility for which will be made available shortly", the National Testing Agency (NTA) said in an official notification.
The UGC NET 2018 was held in Computer based online mode from December 18 to December 22, 2018. A totoal of 956, 837 candidates from all across India had appeared for the test.
UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for the posts assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Candidates who qualify for the JRF are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible to apply for the post of an assistant professor in Indian universities and colleges.
The award of JRF and eligibility for assistant professor’s post depends on the performance of the candidate in all the three papers of NET. However, candidates qualifying exclusively for an assistant professor are not considered for JRF. Candidates who have scored at least 55% in their master’s degree are eligible for NET.
Candidates should note that the NTA UGC NET December 2018 result will be declared on January 10, 2019.
