New Delhi: Accepting
the persistent opposition demand, the government has agreed to a
discussion in parliament on price rise Wednesday.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal revealed this
Tuesday after both the Rajya sabha and the Lok sabha were
adjourned repeatedly over the issue.
"Price rise and inflation will be discussed in the Lok Sabha
tomorrow (Wednesday). We are hopeful that the house will work and
won't be adjourned like today (Tuesday)," Bansal told reporters
here.
He said the government is ready to discuss issues raised by the
opposition.
