Dubai: Dubai will
host six major international expos in the sectors ranging from
Petrochemicals to healthcare in January.
The expos represent the petrochemicals, security, education, human
resources, production services and healthcare and biotechnology
sectors. The events will be organised at the Dubai World Trade
Centre (DWTC).
January's programme will set the pace for what promises to be a
fruitful and energized year for trade and business development in
the UAE, the DWTC said.
Helal Saeed Almarri, CEO of DWTC, said Friday: "With an impressive
line-up of events, DWTC is ideally positioned for another
signature year, and remains committed to providing the ideal
networking platform by hosting a global calendar of world-class
events."
The Arab Health expo Jan 24-27 is world's second largest
healthcare exhibition. The 2010 edition saw a record 66,000
participants and over 2,700 exhibitors from 58 countries.
Exhibitors from Japan, Hong Kong, Argentina and Singapore, among
others, are expected to participate in this year's event.
The four-day Arab International Plastic and Rubber Industry Trade
expo began here Saturday. This will be closely followed by other
regional and international shows, including the Intersec
Exhibition, the Education UK Exhibition, the International Human
Resources Conference and Exhibition, the Sign and Graphic Imaging
Middle East Exhibition and the Arab Health Exhibition and
Conference.
Representing some of the region's high-priority industries, the
exhibitions play a critical role in the forging of strategic and
lucrative business deals, as well as acting as centres of expert
knowledge exchange.
