Bahawudeen, Ex-PVC of Aligarh varsity passes away

(Kerala): Eminent educationist and former Pro-Vice
Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University Dr K M Bahawudeen passed
away today, family sources said.
Bahawdueen (82) is survived by his wife and four children.
He was keeping unwell and breathed his last in a hospital in
Thiruvananthapuram, they said.
Bahawudeen had served as PVC of AMU during 1981-84.
He was for long the principal of the Regional Engineering College
(now NIT), Calicut.
He graduated in Civil Engineering from AMU and later took his
masters degree from Manchester University in the U.K.
During 1984-87, Bahawudeen was Executive Director of the National
Education Planning and Administration.
