Iran to build ship for maritime research

Tehran: Iran will
build a ship to conduct research in the Indian Ocean, the state
media reported.
Head of the National Institute of Oceanography Vahid Chegini said
the construction will start this month. It will be Iran's first
maritime research ship.
The vessel will have two laboratories and research equipments, the
official IRNA news agency reported Sunday.
