Mumbai: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra in coordination with Directorate of Technical Education (DTE Maharashtra) is releasing today i.e. Monday July 31, 2017 the details of vacant seats for Additional CAP Round (Cap Round 4) of admission to first year Engineering courses for the academic year 2017-18.
Students shoud note that DTE Maharashtra will release today the vacant seats details of Government and Government Aided colleges only.
"Display of Vacant Seats for additional round for Government/Govt. Aided Institutes only will be done today i.e. Monday July 31, 2017", the DTE Maharashtra calendar for admission cap round says.
"Online Submission & Confirmation of Option Form for additional Round for Government/Govt. Aided Institutes only through candidates Login by himself/herself through the website - for all candidates who have CAP Merit Number and desirous of participating in this Additional Round, should be done before 05:00 pm on August 01, 2017", the DTE Maharashtra adds.
How to check Vacant Seats and Fill Option Form for Additional CAP Round (DTE CAP Round 4):

- Enter Application ID
- Enter Date of Birth in correct format (dd/mm/yyyy)
- Click on Submit button
Though the DTE Maharashtra has not mentioned any exact time, the details of Additional CAP Round (Cap Round 4) vacant seats will be out today i.e. Monday July 31, 2017 any time by the evening on the DTE Maharrashtra official website dtemaharashtra.gov.in.
Display of Provisional Allotment of Additional CAP Round (Cap Round 4) will be done on August 03, 2017. Reporting to the ARC as per allotment of Additional CAP Round (Cap Round 4) if seat allotted should be done on August 04 to August 06, 2017 up to 05:00 pm.
The Maharshtra Admission 2017 process started after the HSC and MHT-CET results were declared. Students were directed to apply online and verify their documents at Admission reporting Centres (ARCs) till June 17. The last date was however extended by one more day and students applied online till 05:00 pm on June 18, 2017.
The Final Merit List was released on June 22 and CAP Round I ended on July 04. It was supposed to end on July 03, but was extended for one day because of error in online payment system.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell had earlier published a video explaining to the students how to fill the online application form for First Year Maharashtra Engineering Admission 2017.
Candidates through Maharashtra Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy and Hotel Managament admission process can get the chance to study at a college affiliated to one of the 12 universities of Maharashtra.
The process is also applicable for admission to direct second year of Engineering and Technology.
