UP 12th Inter Paper Leak

Two days after English language question paper was leaked, reports coming from Mathura said the second paper of UP Board Intermediate 2018 is leaked a day before the exam.

The board has registered an FIR against the principle of the school where the seal of the envelope containing the second paper was found broken.

"Second paper of intermediate exams scheduled for tomorrow leaked from Shri Giriraj Baba Saraswati Vidyalaya in Shahpur Chainpur. FIR registered against school principal", news agency ANI said.

The leaked paper was scheduled to be held today i.e. Monday February 12,2018.

On February 9, 2018, seal of the envelope for English question paper was found to be broken and consequently a case was registered. The Center Administrator was also taken into custody for investigation.

The question paper leaks are becoming a norm in North. Last week, Biology question paper was leaked in Bihar where Class 12 Inter exams 2018 are underway.

Conducted by the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Allahabad Uttar Pradesh (UPMSP), UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 board exams began on February 06, 2018. The exams are conducted in two shifts.

The Class 10 (Matric or High School) exams 2018 are being held in the morning shift 07:30 am to 10:45 am whereas the Class 12 or Intermediate exams 2018 conducted in the afternoon shift from 02:00 pm to 05:15 pm.

The first paper of 2018 Class 10 was of Home Science in the morning shift whereas Hindi language paper was the first paper of Class 12 or Inter 2018 exams in the afternoon shift on February 06,2018.

English language paper of Class 10 will be held on February 09 and Mathematics paper will be held on February 13, 2018, the UP board Date Sheet for 2018 Class 12 and Class 10 exams said.

A total of 66,37,018 students had registered the 2018 UP board Class 10 and Class 12 exams. These include 36,55,691 students who registered for Class 10 exams and 29,81,327 students who had applied for Class 12 exams.

According to the list of examination centres released on UP board website upmsp.edu.in, 2018 Class 10 and Class 12 exams are held at 128 centres. This is 05 less than 133 - the previous year total of exam centres.

The UP board Class 10 exams will end on February 22, 2018 with Sanskrit as last paper. The last paper of UP Board Class 12 exam will be on March 10, 2018. The paper will be of Anthropology and Urdu language, and it will be held only in the afternoon shift.
