Dalit, OBCs and all those socially or politically oppressed or discriminated with are the integral part of Maharashtra AUDF under the leadership of Maulana Badruddin Ajmal”, says Dr. Azimuddin, Secretary General of Maharashtra AUDF.

In a press statement Dr. Azimuddin disclosed that Maharashtra AUDF is all set to contest general election at least in 7 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state. He said the party has already filed two candidates Mr. Yunus Manyar and Mrs. Mamta Vinayakrao Khandelkar from Yavatmal-Washim and Amravati (SC) Lok Sabha constituencies respectively which go for polling in the first phase on 16th April. In Akola and Buldhana constituencies Maharashtra AUDF could not nominate candidates from party ticket due to a technical problem at time of form submission still Mr. Mujahid Khan, alias Mazhar Khan and Bilal Seth independent candidates respectively from both constituencies will be fully supported by Maharashtra AUDF.

“The two actually would have been the party’s official candidate if we were allowed by the election commission to do so, says Farooq Mithaiwala, vice president of Maharashtra AUDF.

Maharashtra AUDF is surly nominating three more official candidates in Pune, Thane and Mumbai north-central whose name will be declared for the press and public after the nomination is filed. Imtiyaz Peerzada, In-charge Western Maharashtra and vice president of Maharashtra AUDF said, “We are putting candidates only in the constituencies where we think we are in a fighting position”.

The party received nearly 50 applications from various constituencies out of which only 7 have been granted by the party president Badruddin Ajmal, says Tarun Rathi, Mumbai president of Maharashtra AUDF. AUDF has so far nominated candidates in Assam, West Bengal and Maharashtra. AUDF may nominate a few more candidates in Bihar, Jharkand and UP in next few days with Lock & Keys as party’s election symbol.

Iqbal compiled this poem in praise of India and the poem preaches the communal harmony that had unfortunately started ceasing in India by that time. Each and every word in this poem depicts an Indian’s respect and love for the motherland and the values the Indian society inherited for long...Read Full
