aims to set record for world's longest flag

Dubai:
Kuwait is aiming to set a new Guinness record for the world's
longest flag which will be unveiled next month during its National
Day.
Kuwait celebrates its National Day and Liberation Day Feb 25.
The 2,000 metre-long flag was made by the students of Fatima Bin Quais Primary School, Gulf News reported.
The flag will be displayed for the first time before the public
during the military parade to be held on that day in Kuwait City,
said Shaikha Amthal Al Ahmad Al Sabah, president of the Volunteer
Work Centre.
