"Vice President Hamid Ansari will be in Bhiwandi tomorrow and will inaugurate the two-day All India Urdu Conference at 03:45 in the afternoon", Chairman of Konkan Muslim Education Society Aslam Fakih said while talking to ummid.com.

The conference is being organised to commemorate 25 years of G.M. Momin Women's College, the institution established by the Konkan Muslim Education Society in 1989.

He also said that the teachers at G.M. Momin Women's College are also designing software for integrating Urdu language with the technology.

"If countries like China, Japan and Saudi Arabia can link Chinese, Japanese and Arabic languages with the computer, why can't we do the same? We want to demonstrate during the two day conference how the Urdu language can also be directly integrated with the technology", he said.
