Dharamshala: The Himachal Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) declared online the results of 2018 Class 12 or Class XII, also known as SOS Plus Two, examination today i.e. Tuesday April 24 - a day in advance than expected.

The Himachal Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) results of 2018 Class 12 or Class XII, SOS Plus Two of Science, Commerce and Arts - all three streams, have been declared on Himachal board's website hpbose.org. The results are also accessible on IndiaResults.com and examresults.nic.in.

Sahil Katna and Vikrant Rewal from Science stream jointly topped the board examinations. Overall, 46,531 students secured first division, 18,337 students cleared the examination with the second division, and 3,563 passed with third division.

A total of 98,281 students had appeared for the HP board 2018 Class 12 examinations. Of them 68,469 students had cleared the examination, leading a pass percentage of 69.67 in the state. The overall pass percentage in 2017 was 72.89% and 78.93% in 2016.

How to check HPBOSE Class 12 Result 2018

The HP Board Class 12 or Class XII 2018 results are accessible on HP board official and its associate websites. Students who had appeared for the HPBOSE Class 12th exam can follow the steps given as under to check their results and scorecard.

  1. Go to HP board official website hpbose.org or India Results.com
  2. Search for the Result tab on top of the home page
  3. Enter your Exam seat no, select stream and other details if asked
  4. Click on Submit button
  5. Results should appear on your screen
  6. Take a printout

The HP board Class 12 (Class XII or SOS Plus Two) or HPBOSE 12th result 2018 results are also available via SMS. To get your results on SMS type HP12 <Roll No> and send to 56263. For example HP12 20615051 send to 56263.

The Himachal Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) had declared the results of 2018 Class 12 or Class XII, also known as SOS Plus Two in 2016 and 2017 on April 25. It was hence expected that the Dharamshala board will declared the 12th result 2018 also on the same day. The Himachal board however surprised the students by declaring the SOS +2 result 2018 a day in advance.

In 2017, approximately 1.02 lakh students registered the exam and the state had recorded a pass percentage of 72.89%. A total of 1,01,104 students had appeared in the HP Board 12th 2016 examinations. The overall pass percentage stood at 78.93%.

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education was established in year 19669 to serve as a regulatory and supervisory body. Its services involved conducting yearly HP Board 12th Examination and HP Board 10th examination, apart from previously mentioned examination HP BOSE conducts J.B.T and T.T.C examinations too.

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education is headquartered in the city of Dharamshala, and under its aegis, more than 8000 schools function as per its guidelines. It has shown tremendous growth in the past few years elevating the standard of education in the state and has shown great management and coordination when they delivered the HPBOSE Results way ahead of the scheduled date.
