Even as hundreds of thousands of Indian youths continue to add to the list of people who are following Malayalam actress Priya Prakash aka Priya Varrier aka Priya 'Winking' Varrier, Madhya Pradesh Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) demanded a ban on her popular song.

Sanjeev Mishra, the BJP leader who lives in Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh, also slammed the youths who are following Priya 'Winking' Varrier saying they are eligible only to sell pakoda.

"In a country where a girl gets within 24 hours 07 lakh followers by just a wink, then youths of that country are eligible only for selling pakodas (fritters)", Mishra wrote in a message posted on Facebook.

"Pakoda" is trending in India ever since Prime Minister Modi called "selling pakoda" one of the means of job. Pakoda also got a reference in BJP President Amit Shah's maiden speech in the Rajya Sabha.

Critics of the BJP government, including unemployed youths, however are slamming Modi and Amit Shah for their "Pakoda politics".

Sanjive Mishra did not stop just here. But, he has written a letter to Prime Minister Modi asking him to impose a ban on the Priya Varrier's song as board exams are near.
